EU RASFF Notification on Food Contact Products -2021

In 2021, RASFF notified 264 cases of food contact violations, of which 145 were from China, accounting for 54.9%.  The specific information of notifications from January to December 2021 is shown in Figure 1. It is not difficult to see that the total number of notifications in the second half of the year has increased compared with the first half.  Throughout the year, unauthorized plastic plant fiber products belong to the illegal products, is currently in monitoring the control stage, nylon material of primary migration of aromatic amine, overweight problem such as silica gel material of volatiles is still grim, according to official data and large test cases, ember test again remind relevant export enterprises must make effective control of supply chain,  In particular, in the production stage, we should pay attention to the sampling inspection of multiple links to ensure the smooth compliance of the final product.
